Here is the completed Berkeley Block. Yeah, I should have fussy cut the rectangles so the stripes are all the same. Otherwise, it is kind of an interesting block.
Next up is a block called Big T. I couldn't find anything about the block in Jinny Beyer's The Quilter's Album of Patchwork Patterns: 4050 Pieced Blocks for Quilters, which is strange since I did find evidence of it online. Apparently, it is also in 501 Rotary-Cut Quilt Blocks by Judy Hopkins. I see no evidence, however, that it is not a block of recent design, although it may not be original with Marsha McCloskey. (Then again it may be as Judy Hopkins's books are marketed through Marsha McCloskey's website. I find no website for Judy Hopkins herself.)
Having been so productive the other day, I decided to cut the pieces for this block and for the number 4 American Beauty BOM after I pressed the Berkeley block. I did get the Big T block cut, but only got about half of the BOM block cut. So I'll have to go back down and finish that one. I guess that will have to wait a while though, because this weekend I have company. My oldest daughter is visiting and I need quality daughter time.
Here are the fabric choices for the Big T block:
