Well, I never got around to taking that picture last night, so there is no picture of the beautiful block in today's post. I also never got around to cutting fabric, so here I am at work not quilting. I guess I could pull out the appliqué project from the class I took a few weeks ago and practice my needle turn, but I haven't gotten to that point yet. I wish I liked doing the appliqué as much as I like looking at the finished projects done by other people! Sigh. We know that it is not that I don't like to do hand work because I prefer hand piecing! GRRRRRR!
I just thought I would confess to having started a book store page. No, I'm not trying to get rich. I don't think that that is possible with the book store. It's just that I love to read and if I'm recommending all these wonderful books, I might just as well get a little kick back since I am mostly retired. Yes, I work now part time, but I'm not sure how long this job will last since it doesn't keep me very busy and eventually someone will realize that few enough people are coming in for help that they really need me. So, I'm trying to do anything that can help feed my quilt book and fabric and notions addiction. No, you are not required to support me, but if you were planning to purchase any of those books from Amazon anyway..... Thanks.
For those of you who know how much I hate cutting and how inept I feel at it, I have used the Zemanta Assistant in the editing here to show you what AccuQuilt recently announced. The link is at the end of this post. I own the full sized Go! and I love it. One of the true confessions I plan to make here involves my purchase of some new Go! dies and my real desire to actually use the Double Wedding Ring die to start a quilt. Like I need to start another quilt project!!!!!!!
Okay, that's enough rambling from me. Enjoy the article about the new Go! And quilt on!!!!
