Table Runner Top Complete & Centennial History Information

Here is the completed table runner top. I will admit to some trepidation once I had cut the border fabric. It looked a bit busy to me. And when I look at it now, I wonder if I should have mitered the corners, but I was a bit short of fabric.

Now I just need to decide how I plan to finish it.  Hand quilting or my pitiful machine quilting? Hmmm! Time will tell.

On to the next block, which is already cut. It is called Centennial. When I tried researching it online, I didn't find much, but The Quilter's Album of Patchwork Patterns: 4050 Pieced Blocks for Quilters did have a little bit of information. Below is all I know!

The Centennial block was included in the Ladies Art Company Blocks catalog #158 in 1897 and was published as a Nancy Cabot Block on October 29, 1934 in the Chicago Tribune.  And that is everything I know about the block. If I find any other information, I'll let you know!
