I guess finishing one quilt has made me a slacker. So far nothing quilty has happened in my life since I completed the photo quilt Sunday night. Unless you count looking at magazines or fabshophopping, that is. Yes, I brought my tumblers with me today (and yesterday), but I haven't even gotten them out of the bag. Of course, today is not finished yet.
One of the problems is the fact that I have been doing a lot of online research. Some living situations will be changing and a car died and some research has been involved in both of those. (Although I'm not sure the fruitless online wallpaper search really counts as research!)
The other problem is that I am not motivated to work on the 120 Blocks project just now. I want to work on a challenge I'm hoping to enter, and I need to catch up on my BOM blocks. I have completed the first 6 blocks, but I have 7, 8, 9, 10, & 11 are in my possession. If I show up next month with the first 11 completed, I will get two pillowcase kits. Hmmmmm! Plus, the sooner I get that done, the happier I will be.
So maybe I'm taking a brief break from the 120 Blocks project. Of course, I wasn't planning on doing either of the other two things by hand, but maybe that will change. I guess we will see. If not, I always have my tumblers (which I also hadn't planned to do by hand) or I could do some appliqué and practice those skills.
Here I have rattled on and on about nothing. Sorry to waste your time.
Does anyone know a way of designing your own wallpaper (the wall covering type, not the computer type)?
Quilt on! (Do as I say, not as I do!)
