First, work required some work last week. I updated all the help documents and sent them off to replace the older versions. That was last Monday. Tuesday morning I received an email informing me that the interface had been re-vamped, but that the site still worked the same way. This meant that I needed to replace every screenshot in my help documents. That took considerably longer than merely updating the few things that had changed took! The next couple of pictures show you exactly how much quilting I got done at work last week:
I know, these are not part of the 120 block project. I was so busy that cutting for that project just didn't happen. Luckily, I had cut the pieces for my American Beauty BOM #7 and could bring that to work with me. Of course, the first 6 blocks were machine pieced, but pieced is pieced and done will be done. Then again, I had originally planned for this to be a wedding gift for my niece who may or may not be getting married in the near future since these (green, pink, white, and black) used to be colors she really liked. However, a recent conversation indicated that blues might be a better choice, so now I don't know what I will do with this quilt. I have to finish it though because I have told myself I can't start my Fat Quarter Shop Designer Mystery BOM until I have completed this one - and I am very anxious to start that!
The next pictures show what I have completed today at work. Please note that the block still is not finished and please forgive the blurry photo. I'd have retaken it if I had realized how very blurry it is!
It is looking pretty, but I still have a ways to go on it. Perhaps I'll get it done tomorrow.
In other news, I have been enjoying catching up on other people's podcasts lately. (I have so many to catch up on that I have been known to wish everyone would take a break so I can catch up!) Sometimes I wonder if I would like podcasting, but I'm not much of a talker and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have anything interesting to say, so......I think I'll just stick to listening for now.
