Case in point: Jaye at the Artquiltmaker blog made the most amazing quilt that caused me love at first sight. It was an accident to start with, but the finished product is amazing. Unfortunately, I am unable to convince her to give it to me, so I really want to make one like it. Of course, there are no more Terrain jelly rolls on the face of the planet, so I have ordered Cuzco and Good Fortune jelly rolls to see which of those will work the best in my efforts to come as close to duplicating this quilt as possible. And, of course, I want to start right now.
I also got some Good Fortune fat eights with a Dresden Plate idea in mind or maybe something more like Aneela Hoey's Bloom quilt, the pattern for which can be (and has been by me) purchased here. I have been dying to make that quilt since the day Aneela first posted it on her blog!
I also want to do more paper piecing sometime in the near future.
I have Christmas gifts to make.
I have a guest room quilt to assemble.
And the church quilt is woefully in danger of not being completely quilted and finished by December 7!
And still I add things to my list:
- The Golden Gifts Quilt I found in the Quilter's Newsletter Christmas edition and for which I have purchased fabric
- More Christmas blocks.
- and the list, unfortunately, goes on!
